With 12,000 members worldwide, the Energy Institute (EI) is the world's leading professional association covering the energy industries, providing an independent, professional and extensive information covering both the scientific and technical aspects of the energy industry.

The Houston Branch of the Energy Institute attracts professional members from throughout the Gulf Coast. The Branch holds regular meetings throughout the year, as well as participating at the Offshore Technology Conference.
